Windows 7, the next operating system as announced by the Microsoft will be brought to public view at CES to be held next month.
The Windows 7 is the next version of client’s operating system after Windows Vista.
No concrete base is there to ground such speculations but, in October, Microsoft promised to bring beta version by early 2009. With no confirmations, market watchers are speculating that Microsoft can bring beta version sometime in January and possibly the CES show in Las Vegas as a likely release date. CES is scheduled for Jan. 8-11.
The insiders report that significant announcements are coming from the beta testers indicating that Windows 7 beta can be expected any day.
The attendees will receive a Windows 7 beta DVD.
Microsoft expects to release Windows 7 in early 2010. But observers have the feel that it will be released earlier than the announced date as many business customers have skipped Vista and run XP until Windows 7 is available.

If you are editing a web site ,you have to open photo shop to edit graphics and an htm editor like dream weaver ,plus some more application for your other documents.
Some time we need to keep a note pad always on top to get some serial numbers, or copy and paste some codes form net etc.

The US nation’s employers shed 533,000 jobs in November, the 11th consecutive monthly decline, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday. Not since December 1974, toward the end of a severe recession, have so many jobs disappeared in a single month, and the current recession appears to be just gathering steam.
“We are caught in a downward spiral in which employment, incomes and spending are collapsing together,” said Nigel Gault, chief domestic economist for HIS Global Insight. “With private spending frozen, we have no choice but to rely on a stimulus package to revive the economy.”
The unemployment rate rose to 6.7 percent, up just two-tenths of a percentage point from October, but six-tenths over the last three months. More significantly, the unemployment rate does not include all those too discouraged to look for work any longer or those working fewer hours than they would like. That “underutilization” rate, as the bureau calls it, rose to a record 12.5 percent in November, up 1.5 percentage points since September.
Noting that 1.9 million jobs have been lost since the start of the current recession a year ago, President-elect Barack Obama invoked public spending as the best way to get a dead-in-the-water economy moving again. “This painful crisis,” he said in a statement, is an opportunity “to improve the lives of ordinary people by rebuilding roads and modernizing schools for our children,” and investing in clean energy solutions.

Bandula who by now has got a new lease of life and is in the process of rebuilding his shattered life shared his story with The Sunday Leader.

How I started Using Google Docs
I am working in a marketing department of an organization for quiet some time , we use our own personalized web based software for our data and marketing purposes . the company has around ten branches over Malaysia and there for this time of web based application needed.
But the web based application or the shared work space available at the working place only ,so that cannot take work to home . I had to create some reports that I want to continue at home ,in this point I can use file trasnfereing by a pen drive or emailing the documents from home to work place etc..
But I found google docs as very useful to such tasks.
Goole Docs is an free online Office Package for all. You can create word documents, Power Point slides ,Excel work sheets ,PDF documents and forms using this application from any PC connected to net.You can edit the documents on line . No need to have Office application in your local PC.

My Friend Mr.Raffles Working in a company in Malaysia ,He is a family man who supports from his income his wife and three kids.Once happened to ask a salary increment of of USD 60 after this recent economic crisis of the world ,from his boss. Boss told him to give one or two weeks for his decision .
Finally after few reminding emails sent, Mr Raffles got the reply from the Boss. Below you can see the original letter.I don’t want to comment on this letter as it sent by an multi national company’s branch head to the employee who does the hard work there for 11 months.

Employee’s Motivational Tips to Managers
- If you have an extremely urgent job for me, run in and ask for a progress report every 10 minutes, stressing that you need it done quickly. This helps a lot. Even better, hover behind me as I work - this is guaranteed to produce a good result.
- Leave without telling anyone where you are going. It’s good for the soul to have a panic attack when a decision has to be made and your not there to approve it.
- Never give me urgent work in the morning. Always wait until 4pm. The challenge of a deadline is refreshing.
- Keep me working until 8pm every night. I have no life, family or home to go to and keep me busy every waking second so I don’t dwell on it.
- If I do a job well. Don’t tell anyone. It will be our little secret. On the other hand, if I do a bad job, please tell everyone. It’s important we all know our worth in the office.
- If you have special instructions for a job, please don’t tell me in advance. Wait until the job is completed and tell me what I should have done. No use confusing me with useful information.
- When you show clients around the building, please do not introduce me. I mean nothing to the company so please do not even glance in my direction.
- Confide in me about your financial woes. I especially like to hear about how much tax you had to pay on that 10K Christmas bonus.
