New mobile Features gives confusion to users ! Says a Survey

“The complexity of modern mobile phones is leaving users frustrated and angry, research suggests.

Some 61% of those interviewed in the UK and US said setting up a new handset is as challenging as moving bank accounts. ” BBC Says

Even though the number of  the people using the latest technology is very high in US and UK ,they find difficult to use the complexed modern mobile technology.

Compiled by mobile firm Minformation, the survey found 85% of users reporting they were frustrated by the difficulty of getting a new phone up and working.

Of the 4,000 people questioned, 95% said they would try more new services if phones were easier to set up.

After the recent development in mobile phone technology ,computer like and in some sort more advanced smart phones born. As it has  plenty of applications to perform different tasks, opening the application and getting done the needful from that ,learning to use it are becoming little bit difficult to an ordinary user.


“If an application does not work once or twice, they just will not use it or try again,”Mformation spokesman Matthew Bancroft said.

Some 61% of those questioned said they stopped using an application if they could not get it working straight away.

in the wake of this survey , mobile phone operators should consider to offer the possibilities to setup a new phone faster to their user. They can offer step by step customized tutorials in multimedia format, or can bring a setup wizard like package integrated to setup the phone with contacts, Internet settings, email etc.
