Nokia and Microsoft join hands for Mobile Office

Microsoft and Nokia joined together to offer Microsoft Office Mobile version in Nokia Devices.




The two companies announced their new deal today for the press.

“the first time Microsoft will make Office for non windows mobile phones,” says Microsoft Business Division President Stephen Elop

It is learned that around 200 Million Nokia smart phones are in the use all around the world. Microsoft wants to take over all via Mobile office.

Quick Office ,Mobi Office are the companies offering Microsoft Office for mobiles so far, for an acceptable working level.


This is the first time ,that the original software vendor going to port Microsoft office in Nokia Devices.

The Mobile Office from Microsoft will be released soon for Symbian OS as Nokia still using it and no ideas to go for an alternative OS .

Microsoft reveals that the first Microsoft Mobile Office will be released for corporate customers as the result  Nokia  E series will get the Microsoft Office soon.

The ability to view, edit, create and share Office documents on more devices in more places with mobile-optimized versions of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OneNote

Enterprise instant messaging and presence, and optimized conferencing and collaboration experience with Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile

Mobile access to intranet and extranet portals built on Microsoft SharePoint Server

Enterprise device management with Microsoft System Center

Analysts say that Microsoft agreed the truth in directly by this agreement, that the Windows mobile will not going to rule the world,there for they are porting their product in the Mobile device that has good standing in the market.

The join venture is needed by both companies to face the challenges raised by Apple Iphones and Android Phones .

Microsoft’s entry in to the Symbian market is too late. And lot of criticism found over the lousy recent development of Symbian OS.  But Nokia  says that it does not has idea to give up Symbian in the near future .
