The Risk of owning Kindle : Amazon.com's "big brother Job"
Amazon kindle ,is an e reader sold and content being delivered by Amazon.com. The owners of kindle found loosing one important book on 17th of July 2009 from their Electronic library on kindle reader.
The Mobile Reference edition of the novel, “Nineteen Eighty-four,” by George Orwell that was deleted from Kindle e-book readers by Amazon.com. Amazon lately discovered the un authorized copy in the kindle and removed it remotely from the owners.
An Amazon spokesman, Drew Herdener, said in an e-mail message that the books were added to the Kindle store by a company that did not have rights to them, using a self-service function. “When we were notified of this by the rights holder, we removed the illegal copies from our systems and from customers’ devices, and refunded customers,” he said.
Whatever the reason Amazon gives, How can you take back the product you sold without the concern of the buyers and without refund. Most of the readers describing this action as ” Amazon coming home in the mid night and stealing the books from the shelf .”
Being online is convince most of the times,but have the risk of loosing something like this also .
